Edting Your Code

There are many tools you can use to edit your code. We've listed some of the most popular here with links to learning resources. vi and emacs are powerful, traditional code/text editors for Linux. They each have a huge list of features that can make you very productive once you learn them. Though both programs do support the mouse and have pull-down menus, their true power is in their many keyboard shortcuts.
